Food‐Safe Bioimpedance Monitoring of Table Grapes and Their Post‐Harvest Aging
A food‐safe, scalable electrochemical impedance spectroscopy system is introduced for real‐time monitoring of fruit aging and senescence. Edible electrodes are used, alongside an automatized food‐grade probing platform, to enable non‐destructive bioimpedance sensing of table grapes.

Litsea cubeba essential oil (LCEO) reduces blueberry rot while maintaining quality. It disrupts the cellular structure and membranes of Alternaria alternata, causing solute leakage, while simultaneously inducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) accumulation and mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) damage in the pathogen.

FcStuA from Fusarium culmorum controls wheat foot and root rot in a toxin dispensable manner [PDF]
Fusarium culmorum is one of the most harmful pathogens of durum wheat and is the causal agent of foot and root rot (FRR) disease. F. culmorum produces the mycotoxin deoxynivalenol (DON) that is involved in the pathogenic process.

Control of sooty blotch and black rot of apple through removal of fruit mummies
Several popular apple cultivars retain their aborted fruits as mummies on the tree. In laboratory conditions, overwintered fruit mummies collected from a Northern German apple orchard under organic management released inoculum, which caused black rot due
