Assessment of a New Cloud Fraction Scheme for Precipitation Simulations Over the Tibetan Plateau
Accurate precipitation simulation over the Tibetan Plateau (TP) remains a major challenge for numerical weather forecasting due to the region’s complex terrain and highly heterogeneous convective processes.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Probabilistic Forecasting Model for Tropical Cyclone Intensity Based on Diffusion Model
Reliable forecasting of tropical cyclone (TC) intensity—particularly rapid intensification (RI) events—remains a major challenge in meteorology, largely due to the inherent difficulty of accurately quantifying predictive uncertainty.

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

Cardiovascular Risk Prediction [PDF]
Accurate assessment of cardiovascular risk in the clinical setting is important for appropriate management and counseling of patients and for identification of biological pathways. Classic models, including the Framingham risk score,1 have combined strong correlates of risk, such as age, with modifiable factors, such as blood pressure and lipids, into ...

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Matched spatial transcriptomics and single‐nuclei RNA‐seq were generated for anaplastic and BRAFV600E papillary thyroid cancers revealing generic and tumor‐specific states occurring in cancer cells and in the tumor microenvironment. In this context, cancer dedifferentiation mirrored organoid maturation through ordered thyroid marker gain/loss ...
