Robust Stability of Multivariate Polynomials, Part 2: Polytopic Coefficient Variations [PDF]

open access: yes, 1999
This paper deals with robustness of stability propety of a class of multivariate polynomials, recently introduced in kharjt. The aim is to show the use of this class when analyzing stability of mutivariate polynomial families with polytopic coefficient ...

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

A comparison between classical robust stability conditions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
The paper is focused on the comparison between some classical robust stability conditions for continuous-time linear time-invariant systems. Such conditions are given as lemmas in the paper, since their statements include some generalizations, needed in ...

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Improved robust stability criteria and design of robust stabilizing controller for uncertain linear time‐delay systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In this paper, an improved linear matrix inequality (LMI)-based robust delay-dependent stability test is introduced to ensure a larger upper bound for time-varying delays affecting the state vector of an uncertain continuous-time system with norm-bounded-

An epithelial GPR35 isoform supports tumor‐associated transcriptional and metabolic phenotypes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
GPR35 generates two functionally distinct isoforms with previously unresolved roles. GPR35‐short mediates immune‐cell chemotaxis, while GPR35‐long is enriched in colorectal cancer epithelium, where it supports increased metabolism, proliferation, and tumor‐associated transcriptional programs.
