Robust stability of interval polynomials and matrices for linear systems [PDF]
This paper addresses on the robust stability problem of interval polynomials and matrices of the continuous-time linear system (C-TLS) and discrete-time linear system (D-TLS) that contain the real uncertain parameters.

Geometric Interpretation of Frequency Domain Robustness Constraints and Closed-Loop Pole Locations
Requirements for robustness and performance in the frequency domain in control theory are usually formulated as constraints on the modulus of complex functions describing the open-loop system, the sensitivity function, and the complementary sensitivity ...

Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Robust Stability of Interconnections [PDF]
We begin by observing that the graph topology with its various metrizations plays a fundamental role in the theory of robust stability for classical LTI systems([1, 2, 6].

Robust stability of a diamond of multivariate polynomials [PDF]
In this paper it is shown that in order to check the stability of a diamond family of multivariate polynomials there is no need to check the stability of m.2(2+m) distinguished edges of the family, it being necessary and sufficient to verify that (m+1)2 ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Gut microbiome and aging—A dynamic interplay of microbes, metabolites, and the immune system
Age‐dependent shifts in microbial communities engender shifts in microbial metabolite profiles. These in turn drive shifts in barrier surface permeability of the gut and brain and induce immune activation. When paired with preexisting age‐related chronic inflammation this increases the risk of neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases.

Study on robust stability inverse problem for linear systems [PDF]
Most of traditional robust problems focus on developing a robust controller to stabilize the dynamic system when system parameters perturb in certain bounded range.

Robust Stability for Impulsive Systems With Polytope Uncertainties
This paper is concerned with robust stability for impulsive systems with polytope uncertainties. At first, the stability for impulsive systems without uncertainties is addressed by employing a Lyapunov-like functional.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
