We propose that the compactification radius in 5D Kaluza-Klein theory is set by the Roche limit: R5 = d_Roche/2. Using Einstein's constant kappa = 8πG_N/c^4, we derive d_Roche = (1/M) sqrt[ħc/πG_N kappa] (ρ_P/ρ)^{1/4} with no free parameters. For black holes this predicts d_Roche = r_s = 2G_N M/c^2, unifying tidal and horizon scales.

Chemical Maturation Controls Bioavailability of Fetuin‐A‐Mineral Complexes in Biomineralization
The role of Fetuin‐A‐mineral complexes in matrix mineralization is unclear. Here, Fetuin‐A‐mineral complexes were found to exist in functionally distinct states that determine mineral bioavailability: chemically labile calciprotein monomers directly mineralize collagen fibrils, while chemically matured primary calciprotein particles require cellular ...

Gellan gum fluid gel (FG) enables controlled ocular delivery of mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC)‐derived extracellular vesicles (EV). Its shear‐thinning, solid‐liquid‐solid rheology ensures prolonged ocular retention. Sustained MSC‐EV release (∼18% in 6 hrs) supports effective EV ocular delivery.

Nanoemulsion delivery of a TLR7 agonist enhances safety and promotes colocalization with Leishmania‐infected macrophages in skin lesions, enabling a ∼2‐log reduction in parasite burden. However, tissue‐level constraints and TLR‐driven regulatory feedback generate a mixed immune response that limits complete parasite clearance.

A minimal derivation of the Roche tidal disruption limit from a gravitational fixed-point condition
We present a three-step derivation of the Roche tidal disruption limit from a single fixed-point condition: a satellite is disrupted when the tidal acceleration gradient of the host planet equals the self-gravitational acceleration gradient at the satellite's surface. The derivation uses only Newton's law of gravitation and yields the result d_R =

This study introduces a modular microfluidic platform that connects liver cells with live microbes to mimic key aspects of the gut–liver interaction in steatosis. Using this system, both microbial metabolites and live bacteria significantly reduced fat accumulation in liver cells, but live microbes triggered inflammation and broader metabolic changes ...
