Halide perovskite solar cells are fabricated with self‐encapsulation by lamination between two glass substrates using rapid Joule heating, yielding a 99% reduction in lamination time compared to previous studies. An 18% efficient cell is laminated in 5 s, demonstrating the potential for scalable manufacturing. ABSTRACT Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are

Collision‐Resilient Winged Drones Enabled by Tensegrity Structures
Based on structures of birds such as the woodpeck, this article presents the collision‐resilient aerial robot, SWIFT. SWIFT leverages tensegrity structures in the fuselage and wings which allow it to undergo large deformations in a crash, without sustaining damage. Experiments show that SWIFT can reduce impact forces by 70% over conventional structures.

Maintenance Appointments in Railway Rolling Stock Rescheduling [PDF]
This paper addresses the railway rolling stock rescheduling problem, while taking maintenance appointments into account. After a disruption, the rolling stock of the disrupted passenger trains has to be rescheduled to restore a feasible rolling stock circulation. Usually, a number of train units have a scheduled maintenance appointment during the day:

Our study reveals the protective role of GPR124 in maintaining BBB integrity and promoting neurological recovery following TBI. It makes a significant contribution by uncovering a novel molecular interaction between GPR124 and FGFBP1 and linking this to activation of the Wnt/β‐catenin signaling pathway in vascular repair mechanisms.

Allocation of Railway Rolling Stock for Passenger Trains [PDF]
For a commercially operating railway company, providing a high level of service for the passengers is of utmost importance. The latter requires high punctuality of the trains and an adequate rolling stock capacity. Unfortunately, the latter is currently (in 2002) one of the bottlenecks in the service provision by the main Dutch railway operator NS ...

This study identifies the HDAC6/GATA4/HtrA1 axis as a critical driver of cellular senescence in the inner ear. GATA4 nuclear translocation, facilitated by HDAC6 downregulation, transcriptionally activates HtrA1, promoting hair cell senescence, SASP, and audio‐vestibular dysfunction in models of Ménière's disease and age‐related audio‐vestibular ...

An Integrated NLP‐ML Framework for Property Prediction and Design of Steels
This study presents a data‐driven framework that uses language‐processing techniques to interpret steel processing descriptions and machine‐learning models to predict mechanical properties. By organising complex process histories into meaningful groups and enabling rapid property forecasts, the work supports faster, more informed steel design through ...

Low cycle fatigue analysis of welded joints considering material cycling behavior
In order to describe the local cyclic behavior of welds during low cycle fatigue of welded structures, so as to effectively assess the low cycle fatigue of structures, a structural strain numerical method is proposed.
