Rosmarinus officinalis L. is a shrub native to the Mediterranean area, but occurring mainly in southern Europe. In Israel it is widespread as a cultivated ornamental. Plants examined from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem were found to bear sexually polymorphic flowers, the polymorphism expressed in morphological traits and pollen stainabi1ity.
