A randomized controlled trial of the short-term effect of rosuvastatin on the corrected QT interval
Rosuvastatin can block human ether-a-go-go related gene (hERG) currents and prolong the corrected QT (QTc) interval, but this effect has not been confirmed in the population.

Photogenerated Oxetanes as a Gateway to Uphill Cyclopropanation
An atom‐economical route to densely functionalized cyclopropanes from furans and photochemically activated aldehydes is enabled by a unique oxetane‐to‐cyclopropane rearrangement. These cyclopropanes can be used to access complex bioactive scaffolds and serve as a platform for asymmetric cyclopropane synthesis.

Pharmacokinetic profiling of imatinib in relation to CYP3A4 activity in leukaemia patients
Aim Imatinib pharmacokinetics exhibit large interindividual variability because of differences in CYP3A4 activity—the main imatinib‐metabolizing enzyme. While therapeutic drug monitoring is effective, it requires steady‐state conditions and frequent sampling.

Statin‐associated muscle symptoms (SAMS) are frequent adverse effects of statin therapy and have been hypothesized to result from impaired coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) biosynthesis. Although genetic determinants of CoQ10 levels have been reported, genome‐wide association studies (GWASs) conducted specifically in statin users are lacking. Moreover, direct CoQ10

Coproporphyrin I (CPI) is an established endogenous biomarker for detecting drug–drug interactions (DDIs) involving the hepatic uptake transporter Organic Anion Transporting Polypeptide 1B1 (OATP1B1, gene SLCO1B1). While CPI has been extensively studied in healthy volunteers using controlled pre‐ and post‐OATP1B1‐inhibitor sampling, its applicability ...

The Effect of Rosuvastatin on the Liver Enzyme of NMRI Mouse
Background: Rosuvastatin is the newest statin family drug and acts as an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor. Rosuvastatin can decrease the amount of cholesterol made by the liver and reduce the risk of heart disease.
