Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Phase-lag and diffusion in porous thermoelastic micropolar media with initial pressure and rotational forces affected by modified Ohm’s law and gravity [PDF]
This study explores the diffusion in micropolar thermoelastic materials with voids rotating at a uniform angular velocity. Researchers utilized the harmonic solution as an analytical method to examine the micropolar porous medium affected by gravity and ...

Rotation in Multiple Correspondence Analysis: a planar rotation iterative procedure [PDF]
Multiple Correspondence Analysis (MCA) is a well-known multivariate method for statistical description of categorical data (see for instance Greenacre and Blasius, 2006). Similarly to what is done in Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Factor Analysis,

Faraday rotation estimation Performance analysis
Different Faraday Rotation (FR) estimators are discussed, their estimation performances are assessed and compared to each other. The algorithms are applied on a set of quad-pol ALOS Pal-SAR data and the obtained estimates are validated against FR values ...

Summary. We introduce length-preserving linear transformations of Euclidean topological spaces. We also introduce rotation which preserves orientation (proper rotation) and reverses orientation (improper rotation). We show that every rotation that preserves orientation can be represented as a composition of base proper rotations.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

On Horns and Halos: Confirmation Bias and Job Rotation [PDF]
Confirmation bias, which refers to unintentional and unknowing selectivity in the use of evidence, belongs to the major problems faced by organizations. In this article, we discuss job rotation as a natural solution to this problem.

The Saxmundham rotation experiments: rotation I
At Saxmundham Experimental Station in East Suffolk a four-course rotation experiment testing fertilizer treatments has continued with only minor modifications since the 1899/1900 crop year, the crops being wheat, roots (mainly mangolds), barley and ...
