Proteolytic Cleavage in RP-HPLC Solvents
1987Successful degradation of the very resistant human complement component C3 (Mr 187,500) with trypsin in the presence of 2-propanol (1) has prompted us to examine the effects of the lower alcohols and acetonitrile during degradation with some commonly used endoproteases. The benefits might be threefold.
