Separation of Nucleic Acids by Ion Pair Reversed Phase High Performance Liquid Chromatography (IP RP HPLC) [PDF]
Ion-pair reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography (IP RP HPLC) is shown to be an effective method to reliably analyze DNA. IP RP HPLC is a much faster and safer alternative to conventional methods of DNA separation and quantification.

Beyond PEGylation: Archaeal Lipids for Long‐Circulating Liposomes
Archaeal lipid‐based liposomes, particularly those containing caldarchaeol (GDGT), were found to significantly prolong the circulation time of vancomycin in rats, matching the pharmacokinetic properties of PEGylated systems. These findings suggest archaeal lipids as promising non‐PEG excipients for parenteral applications to minimize drug clearance ...

This study explores enzyme‐responsive nanoparticles for targeted antimicrobial release in inflamed oral environments. Nanoparticles formed by complexing peptides and chlorhexidine respond to human leukocyte elastase and release chlorhexidine selectively. P7 (ECAAPVCE)‐based formulations show optimal properties and stability, with antimicrobial activity

A Non-Covalent Antibody Complex for the Delivery of anti-cancer drugs [PDF]
Antibody drug conjugates (ADCs), which are obtained by coupling a potent cytotoxic agent to a monoclonal antibody (mAb), are traditionally bound in a random way to lysine or cysteine residues, with the final product's heterogeneity having an important ...

Developing an Analytical Method for Separating and Quantifying RNA Generated in In Vitro Transcription Reactions [PDF]
The generation of run-off transcripts from in vitro transcription reactions is a useful technique in the study of transcription regulation. There are currently limited ways in which these run-off transcripts can be analyzed, and few that are truly ...

Novel Method to Process Cystic Fibrosis Sputum for Determination of Oxidative State [PDF]
Background: Induced sputum is the most commonly used method to analyze airway inflammation in cystic fibrosis (CF) patients ex vivo. Due to the complex matrix of the sample material, precise and reliable analysis of sputum constituents depends critically

A simple method to increase sensitivity for RP‐HPLC phytoplankton pigment analysis [PDF]
HPLC analysis of phytoplankton pigments from natural samples usually requires the filtration of relatively large volumes of water (1–12 L) through filters of 25–47 mm diameter. Pigment extraction from filters of this size is performed with minimum volumes of 2‐5 mL extraction solvent, routinely 90% acetone.
