(+)‐Trans‐Cannabidiol Is an Agonist at Human CB2 Receptors
ABSTRACT (−)‐trans‐Cannabidiol ((−)‐CBD) is a principal phytocannabinoid from Cannabis sativa. (−)‐CBD has complex pharmacology but is a relatively weak inhibitor of CB1 and CB2 receptor signaling. Cannabidiol has two chiral centres and thus four stereoisomers.

Clinical trials of chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell (CAR‐T) therapies in glioblastoma have shown limited clinical benefits. Whether this may be explained by the basal quality of CAR‐T products, which are currently generated using patient, autologous T‐cells, has been little explored.

Sphingosine 1-Phosphate Receptor 1 Signaling in Mammalian Cells
The bioactive lipid, sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) binds to a family of G protein-coupled receptors, termed S1P1-S1P5. These receptors function in, for example, the cardiovascular system to regulate vascular barrier integrity and tone, the nervous system

ABSTRACT In the last decades, critical advancements in research technology and knowledge on disease mechanisms steered therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory diseases towards unprecedented target specificity. For allergic and chronic lung diseases, biologic drugs pioneered this goal, acquiring on the way—through the clinical use of monoclonal ...

Regulation of limb development by the sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor S1p1/EDG-1 occurs via the hypoxia/VEGF axis [PDF]
Angiogenesis, also known as new blood vessel formation, is regulated coordinately with other tissue differentiation events during limb development. Although vascular endothelial cell growth factor (VEGF) is important in the regulation of angiogenesis ...

We report here that mouse embryonic fibroblasts (MEF) express a functional PDGFβ receptor–S1P1 receptor complex. The S1P1 receptor is constitutively active and functions to enhance PDGF-stimulated migration of MEF.
