Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Event-Triggered Sampled-Data Iterative Learning Control for Fractional-Order Cyber-Physical Systems
This paper investigates the output synchronization of fractional-order cyber-physical systems (FOCPSs) under communication constraints. To address limited bandwidth and high transmission costs, an event-triggered encoding-decoding sampled-data iterative ...

Data preprocessing and fitting algorithm based on marine data sampled by multiple underwater gliders
To our knowledge, this paper investigates the first application of the marine data sampled by multiple underwater gliders in the area of the South China Sea. We summarize six main characteristics of the sampled marine data.

This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Electron transfer between complexes III and IV in S. cerevisiae mitochondrial membranes
Mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation in S. cerevisiae mitoplasts is limited by complex IV catalytic capacity, rather than two‐dimensional cytochrome c diffusion. At physiological cytochrome c : supercomplex ratios at salinity equivalent to that of 20 mm monovalent salt, activity is maximized, indicating that this low ionic strength accurately mimics

Output Feedback Sliding Mode Control for Sampled-Data Systems
We address the output feedback sliding mode control problem for a sampled data linear system with external disturbances of the matching type. By taking into account the disturbance compensation, a deadbeat high gain output feedback control strategy with ...
