Calpain small subunit homodimerization is robust and calcium‐independent
Calpains dimerize via penta‐EF‐hand (PEF) domains. Using single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we measured the strength and kinetics of PEF–PEF homodimer binding. The interaction is robust, shows a transient conformational step before dissociation, and remains largely insensitive to Ca2+.

Coupled memory sampled-data control for fractional stochastic wind energy conversion models
This study aims to design a coupled memory sampled-data control (CMSDC) for fractional stochastic wind energy conversion systems (WECSs). Theoretically, this paper introduces a permanent magnet synchronous generator (PMSG)-based WECS, which is crucial in

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Output feedback control for stochastic sampled-data systems
This paper investigates the problem of output feedback control for stochastic uncertainty sampled-data systems. The parameter uncertainties are characterized by a matrix bound which is natural in real applications.

On an LMI approach to optimal sampled-data state feedback control design
The literature presents a large number of interesting and useful results on sampled-data systems. In this paper, we deal with control design problems for this class of systems following a different route.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Sampled-data stabilization of delayed Boolean control networks with state inequality constraints
This paper studies the set stabilization of delayed Boolean control networks (DBCNs) with state inequality constraints via time-variant nonuniform sampled-data control. State inequality constraints are introduced into DBCNs.

Self-Interference Suppression Based on Sampled-Data H8 Control for Baseband Signal Subspaces
In this paper, we propose a design method of self-interference cancelers for in-band full-duplex wireless relaying taking account of baseband signal subspaces. We model the relaying system with self-interference as a sampled-data feedback control system.
