On Preserving Passivity in Sampled-data Linear Systems [PDF]
Passivity is a well know phenomenon in several engineering areas. Due to its interesting properties, it is used in several areas of control engineering. Generally, this property is lost under direct discretization. In this work a new methodology which allows to preserve continuous-time passivity is presented.

In this paper, the intermittent containment control problem of second-order multi-agent systems with sampled position data is investigated. Under the case that the velocity measurements are inaccurate or unavailable, a novel intermittent containment ...

ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Sampled-Data Resilient Control for Hybrid Nonlinear Stochastic Systems Under Periodic DoS Attacks
This paper concerns the sampled-data resilient control for hybrid nonlinear stochastic systems under periodic denial of service (P-DoS) attacks.

ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic apheresis (TA) is an established treatment modality for hematologic, neurologic, and immunologic disorders, yet access remains severely limited in sub‐Saharan Africa. Donor apheresis, including platelet apheresis collection from healthy donors, represents an important complementary modality supporting blood product ...

On sampled-data models for nonlinear systems
Models for deterministic continuous-time nonlinear systems typically take the form of ordinary differential equations. To utilize these models in practice invariably requires discretization. In this paper, we show how an approximate sampled-data model can be obtained for deterministic nonlinear systems such that the local truncation error between the ...

Nonlinear Sampled-data Systems—A lifting framework
This short note gives a new framework for dealing with nonlinear sampled-data systems. We introduce a new idea of lifting, which is well known for linear systems, but not successfully generalized to nonlinear systems. This paper introduces a new lifting technique for nonlinear, time-invariant systems, which are different from the linear counterpart as ...
