Iterative learning control with sampled-data feedback for robot manipulators
This paper deals with the improvement of the stability of sampled-data (SD) feedback control for nonlinear multiple-input multiple-output time varying systems, such as robotic manipulators, by incorporating an off-line model based nonlinear iterative ...

A novel theory for sampled data system passivity
This paper presents a novel way to approach the interconnection of a continuous time and a discrete time physical system. This is done in a way which preserve passivity of the coupled system independently of the sampling time T. A direct application is in the field of haptic displays where virtual environment should feel like equivalent physical ...

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Fault Diagnosis Techniques for Linear Sampled Data Systems and a Class of Nonlinear Systems [PDF]
This thesis deals with the fault diagnosis design problem both for dynamical continuous time systems whose output signal are affected by fixed point quantization,\ud referred as sampled-data systems, and for two different applications whose dynamics are ...

On Fault Detection in Linear Discrete-Time, Periodic, and Sampled-Data Systems
This paper gives a review of some standard fault-detection (FD) problem formulations in discrete linear time-invariant systems and the available solutions. Based on it, recent development of FD in periodic systems and sampled-data systems is reviewed and

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Data compression for estimation of the physical parameters of stable and unstable linear systems [PDF]
A two-stage method for the identification of physical system parameters from experimental data is presented. The first stage compresses the data as an empirical model which encapsulates the data content at frequencies of interest.
