Biogenesis, sorting and trafficking of sulfated glycoprotein-1 (SGP-1) in rat Sertoli cells
Sulfated Glycoprotein-1 (SGP-1) secreted by Sertoli cells is a homologue of human prosaposin known to be processed into four 15 kDa saposins (A,B,C and D). Saposins activate lysosomal enzymes which break down membrane glycolipids.
