Fatty Acids Analysis, Antioxidant and Biological Activity of Fixed Oil of Annona muricata L. Seeds
The total oil yield and the fatty acid composition were determined in the Annona muricata L. fixed oil using organic solvent extraction and GC-FID. The seeds were found to contain about ~21.5% of crude fixed oil on a dry weight basis.

Synthesis of enantiomeric mixed-acid α,β-diglycerides
A procedure has been developed that permits the synthesis of mixed-acid α,β-diglycerides in either one of the four theoretically possible isomeric forms. Each is obtainable as a pure compound devoid of any contamination with positional or spatial isomers.

Biolipid Film‐Fused Electrochemiluminescence for Multipurpose In Situ Bioassays
An ECL‐emissive, membrane‐interactive scaffold was fabricated, and facilely fused with natural and non‐native phospholipids into multifactorial mimicries of cytomembranes and vesicles for in vitro representative membrane‐process probing. Such a biointerface‐based, state‐sensitive ECL paradigm not only pinpointed proximal phenomena, including channeling

Saturated fatty acids, linseed components and high amylose wheat in attenuation of diet-induced metabolic syndrome [PDF]
Metabolic syndrome is a syndrome characterised by central obesity, dyslipidaemia, hypertension, fatty liver disease and insulin resistance that ultimately raises the risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, cancers and osteoarthritis.

Role of blood plasma fatty acids in pathogenesis of stable anginapectoris
In men and women suffering from stable angina pectoris of 1-2 functional classes and aged from 35 to 69 years old, decrease of C 23:0 and increase of C 18:1(11) fatty acids was observed regardless of sex, the content of the rest fatty acids changed ...

Lipid metabolic stress triggers ferroptosis in PDLSCs through the GSK3β/NRF2 pathway, thereby aggravating periodontal bone loss. Upregulated GSK3β promotes NRF2 ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation via β‐TrCP, suppressing NRF2 nuclear translocation and antioxidant target expression.

Palmitic Acid Promotes Antiviral Innate Immunity via ZDHHC20‐Mediated CMPK2 Palmitoylation
Metabolites have important functions in innate immune activation and regulation. Wang et al. uncover metabolic regulation of antiviral immunity through CMPK2 palmitoylation, which regulates CMPK2 mitochondrial localization and is promoted by ZDHHC20 but reversed by PPT1, inhibition of which antagonizes viral infection in mice.
