The Chlorophosphonation of Saturated Fatty Acid

Lauric acid was chlorophosphonated under the following conditions : 0.15 mol of lauric acid was dissolved in 0.3 mol of phosphorus trichloride, followed by introduction of dried oxygen into the solution with the flow rate of 70 ml/min for 3 hr.
