On current-density algebras, gradient terms and saturation

open access: yesCommunications in Mathematical Physics, 1968
The equal time limit of commutator matrix elements of conserved currents is rigorously calculated by means of structures which follow from general principles of relativistic quantum field theory and current conservation. We prove: (a) In general derivatives of δ-functions occur (gradient terms).

Bayesian Deep Neural Network to Compensate for Current Transformer Saturation

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
Current transformer saturation has a negative effect on the operation of IEDs, resulting in their malfunction. Here, we present a technique to compensate for saturated waveforms using Bayesian Deep Neural Network (BDNN) comprising Deep Neural Network ...

Influence of Magnetic Saturation of Iron-Core on Performance of Thyristor Phase Control Circuit

open access: yes, 1982
The influence of magnetic saturation of iron-core on the performance of thyristor phase control circuit with series RLC elements is described. The circuit is analyzed by applying an approximate model of three straight lines to the flux Φ vs.

Some features of a current limiter on the field-effect transistor [PDF]

open access: yesTekhnologiya i Konstruirovanie v Elektronnoi Apparature, 2011
The paper presents researches of dependence of stabilization current from the external resistance connecting the source and the gate of the field-effect transistor in the mode of the current limiter — a two-pole terminal.

Lee Waves Break Eddy Saturation of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, 2023
Eddy‐resolving ocean models suggest that the transport of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current (ACC) may be insensitive to increasing wind. This insensitivity is due to eddies that flatten the isopycnals and compensate for their wind‐driven steepening ...

Detuning and saturation of superconducting devices: formulation and measurements [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Saturation and detuning of high temperature superconducting (HTS) resonators and filters may occur due to the inherent nonlinear properties of the superconductor.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

The Effect of Through-Silicon-Via Thermal Stress on Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field-Effect Transistor Properties Under Cooling to Ultra-Low Temperatures

open access: yesMicromachines
The thermal through-silicon-via (TTSV) has a serious thermal stress problem due to the mismatch of the coefficient of thermal expansion between the Si substrate and filler metal. At present, the thermal stress characteristics and strain mechanism of TTSV

Current limiting and negative differential resistance in indium oxide based ceramics

open access: yes, 2009
Indium oxide based ceramics with bismuth oxide addition were sintered in air in the temperature range 800-1300 ºC. Current-voltage characteristics of In2O3-Bi2O3 ceramics sintered at different temperatures are weakly nonlinear.
