On the Scalar Curvature and Sectional Curvatures of a Totally Real Submanifold [PDF]
For a totally real minimal submanifold of a complex space form, pinching for scalar curvature implies pinching for sectional curvatures.

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Hypersurfaces with constant scalar curvature and constant mean curvature
According to the authors' abstract, ``non-spherical hypersurfaces in \(E^ 4\) with non-zero constant mean curvature and constant scalar curvature are the only hypersurfaces possessing the following property: Its position vector can be written as a sum of two non-constant maps, which are eigenmaps of the Laplacian operator with corresponding eigenvalues

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Prescribed scalar curvature problem on complete manifolds
Conditions on the geometric structure of a complete Riemannian manifold are given to solve the prescribed scalar curvature problem in the positive case. The conformal metric obtained is complete.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Localized gluing of Riemannian metrics in interpolating their scalar curvature
We show that two smooth nearby Riemannian metrics can be glued interpolating their scalar curvature. The resulting smooth metric is the same as the starting ones outside the gluing region and has scalar curvature interpolating between the original ones ...

Hagedorn temperature from the thermal scalar in AdS and pp-wave backgrounds
We propose a thermal scalar equation of motion (EOM) that takes into account curvature corrections for backgrounds supported by Ramond-Ramond fluxes.
