Isolation of Extracellular Vesicles From Mouse Brown Adipose Tissue Secretome Using Size‐Exclusion Chromatography

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 40, Issue 9, 15 May 2026.
Schematic depicting isolation of extracellular vesicles (EVs) from brown adipose tissue (BAT) and their confirmation and quantification by proteomics analysis. The graphical abstract was created using BioRender.com. ABSTRACT Brown adipose tissue (BAT) is a thermogenic tissue that functions in an endocrine, paracrine, and autocrine manner.

Microglia Mitochondria Support Neuronal Maturation via Metabolic and Transcriptional Reprogramming in Human 3D In Vitro Brain Model

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 25, 4 May 2026.
xx xx. ABSTRACT Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by disrupted neuronal circuit maturation. Emerging evidence implicates microglial function and mitochondrial regulation as contributors to ASD‐associated biology, yet the mechanisms linking these processes to neuronal development remain poorly defined ...

Nanoparticle‐Mediated Immunometabolic‐Epigenetic Remodeling Enhances Schwann Cell‐Macrophage Interaction for Sciatic Nerve Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 25, 4 May 2026.
A biomimetic Prussian White nanoparticle (PW) is engineered to achieve long‐term local retention and orchestrate immunometabolic‐epigenetic remodeling for sciatic nerve regeneration. PW directly targets hexokinase 2 to suppress glycolysis, thereby elevating α‐ketoglutarate and driving Kdm4a/b‐mediated demethylation of H3K9me3.

RNA binding protein ZFP36L1 promotes ferroptosis in chronic rhinosinusitis by destabilizing CAMK2A mRNA and impairing mitochondrial quality control

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 16, Issue 5, May 2026.
This graphical abstract illustrates the novel ZFP36L1–CAMK2A regulatory axis in chronic rhinosinusitis (CRS) pathogenesis: 1. Molecular initiation: In nasal epithelial cells, the RNA‐binding protein ZFP36L1 (upregulated in CRS) directly binds to AU‐rich elements (AREs) in the 3′‐untranslated region (3′‐UTR) of CAMK2A mRNA, promoting its degradation and
