Host‐induced gene silencing of the effector candidate Minc09294 significantly impairs Meloidogyne incognita parasitism, markedly reducing gall formation, reproduction, and the development of specialized giant cells, with partial cross‐species effects on M.

Stem Cell‐Based Approaches for Neurotrophic Keratopathy: From Ocular Surface to Neuro‐Ophthalmology
ABSTRACT Neurotrophic keratopathy is an uncommon, but potentially sight‐threatening, corneal disorder that results from impaired trigeminal sensory innervation. The loss of corneal sensation disrupts epithelial stability, weakens wound healing, and may lead to persistent epithelial defects, stromal ulceration, and, in the most advanced cases, corneal ...

Stem cell transplantation remains at the centre of regenerative therapy. Recent, studies have demonstrated that the therapeutic effect of stem cells originates from paracrine reactions from cellular products (secretome) rather than direct cell ...

Dynamic immuno‐mechanobiomaterials with time‐programmed mechanical adaptation orchestrate host responses through precise mechanotransduction and immune‐stromal regulation. These adaptive biomaterials minimize mechanical mismatch, attenuate the forign dy response and fibrosis, promote angiogenesis and controlled extracellular matrix remodeling, and ...

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) have emerged as crucial players within the tumor microenvironment (TME), contributing through their paracrine secretome. Depending on the context, the MSC-derived secretome can either support or inhibit tumor growth.

Russian wheat aphid: a model for genomic plasticity and a challenge to breeders
Invasive foundress finds suitable habitat and reproduces through pathogenesis. Wingless females produce life offspring quickly, which leads to high population densities. High population densities result in competition, which may induce epigenetic changes and wing development for dispersal.

ABSTRACT Background Cell therapy, particularly those utilizing mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (MSCs), is gaining traction as a therapeutic option for regenerative treatment in patients with limited therapeutic options. Although the safety of MSC‐based interventions is well established, uncertainties remain regarding how genetic abnormalities and ...

Brain metastasis‐associated fibroblasts are active stromal components of the metastatic niche characterised by extracellular matrix remodelling and production of pro‐migratory mediators. They promote monocyte and cancer cell migration and enhance cancer cell invasion while having no growth‐promoting effect on cancer cells.
