Single‐Nucleus Multi‐Omics Reveals Hypoxia‐Driven Angiogenic Programs and Their Epigenetic Control in Sinonasal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Single‐nucleus multi‐omics profiling of sinonasal squamous cell carcinoma unveils a hypoxia‐driven angiogenic axis. A specific hypoxic tumor subpopulation orchestrates endothelial tip cell differentiation via epigenetically regulated ADM and VEGFA secretion.

Reinforcement strategies of chassis cell secretory pathway for improving heterologous protein production

open access: yesThe Microbe
The production of heterologous proteins via microbial secretion is currently a prominent focus in biological product development. However, the full realization of this method remains hindered by limited understanding of the protein secretion mechanism ...

p16Ink4a‐Positive Hepatocytes Drive Liver Fibrosis Through Activation of LIFR Family Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study found that, following the long‐term CCl4 treatment, p16high hepatocytes appeared in zone 3, spatially co‐localizing with fibrotic areas. A specific cluster of p16high hepatocytes upregulated CTF1/LIF expression which induced HSC activation and further liver fibrosis, as revealed by single cell transcriptomic analysis.

Revealing potential Rab proteins participate in regulation of secretory autophagy machinery

open access: yesKaohsiung Journal of Medical Sciences
Autophagy can be classified as degradative and secretory based on distinct functions. The small GTPase proteins Rab8a and Rab37 are responsible for secretory autophagy‐mediated exocytosis of IL‐1β, insulin, and TIMP1 (tissue inhibitor of 54 ...

Microenvironment Self‐Adaptive Nanoarmor to Address Adhesion‐ and Colonization‐Related Obstacles in Impaired Intestine Promote Bacteriotherapy Against Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A microenvironment self‐adaptive nanoarmor is developed to effectively address the adhesion‐ and colonization‐related challenges posed by multiple physiological and pathological characteristics in the intestine. L. plantarum@MPN@CS showed significant therapeutic potential in treating Parkinson's disease (PD), a model for extraintestinal disorders, as ...

Characterizing Stage‐Specific Cellular Dynamics and Microenvironmental Remodeling in Lung Adenocarcinoma by Single‐Cell RNA Sequencing

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study integrated early‐stage patient specimens with publicly available datasets encompassing non‐malignant lung tissues and advanced‐stage LUAD through single‐cell sequencing, revealing a dynamically remodeled tumor microenvironment characterized by a hypoxia‐adapted malignant subset (C5), immunosuppressive LGMN+ macrophages, STAT1‐driven ...
