In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Numerical Simulation of Sediment Transport and Variation Based on the Braided River of Yalu Tsangpo River

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2020
Based on the shape of the braided river in the middle reaches of the Yalu Tsangpo River, the study established a mathematical model for the simulation of sediment transport in braided rivers.

Seasonal Variations in Riverine Sediment Transport Timescales in the Pearl River Estuary

open access: yes
Understanding sediment transport timescales is essential for predicting morphological evolution, pollutant accumulation, and ecosystem health in estuaries. This study examines seasonal hydrodynamics and sediment transport in the Pearl River Estuary using

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

Calculation methods for sediment load and deposition volume in the Inner Mongolia reach of the Yellow River

open access: yesShui kexue jinzhan, 2015
Based on the basic sediment transport equation that reflects the characteristics of "more input, more output"for sediment-laden flow rivers,a general sediment transport expression was developed, which can take into account the effects of upstream sediment ...

Role of sediment in the design and management of irrigation canals : Sunsari Morang Irrigation Scheme, Nepal

open access: yes, 2010
Sediment transport in irrigation canals The sediment transport aspect is a major factor in irrigation development as it determines to a large extent the sustainability of an irrigation scheme, particularly in case of unlined canals in alluvial soils ...

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Construction of a monthly dynamic sediment delivery ratio model at the hillslope scale: a case study from a hilly loess region

open access: yesFrontiers in Environmental Science
Introduction: Soil loss is a worldwide environmental problem, and sediment transport is one of its important components. In recent years, a hillslope sediment delivery ratio (SDR) model based on an index of connectivity has been widely used to describe ...

Estimating typical sediment concentration probability density functions for European rivers [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Sediment in rivers is linked with qualitative and quantitative water problems throughout Europe. Sediment supply and transfer are part of a natural process of minimising gradients in the landscape.

Assessment of Sediment Transport Functions with the Modified SWAT-Twn Model for a Taiwanese Small Mountainous Watershed

open access: yes, 2019
In Taiwan, the steep landscape and highly vulnerable geology make it difficult to predict soil erosion and sediment transportation via variable transport conditions.
