14‐3‐3 proteins: Regulators of cardiac excitation–contraction coupling and stress responses

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend 14‐3‐3 protein interactions in cardiac regulation. Schematic representation of 14‐3‐3 binding partners in excitation–contraction coupling, transcriptional regulation/development and stress response pathways. Asterisks indicate targets where the exact 14‐3‐3 binding site is unknown.

Safety of Vortioxetine in Patients With Depression: A Post‐Marketing Surveillance Study of Intracranial Hemorrhage in a Japanese Health Insurance Claims Database

open access: yesNeuropsychopharmacology Reports, Volume 46, Issue 1, March 2026.
This real‐world, retrospective cohort study showed that the incidence of intracranial hemorrhage was low in Japanese patients with depression prescribed vortioxetine, and comparable with that observed in patients prescribed selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).

Improvement in avoidance in major depressive disorder: A 10‐month prospective study of depressive symptoms and personality traits

open access: yesPsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences Reports, Volume 5, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Aim Avoidance is a key maintaining factor in major depressive disorder (MDD); however, longitudinal evidence remains limited, and its association with personality traits is not fully understood. This study aimed to (1) examine the longitudinal associations among avoidance, depressive symptoms, and rumination and (2) explore the relationship ...
