Self-healing of polymer modified concrete
Self healing phenomenon of concrete has been observed in traditional, fibrous, self compacting concrete. This phenomenon occurred mainly due to the presence of unhydrated cement particles in the presence of water. Mechanism of polymer in concrete depends

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Development of a Self-Healing Gel with Self-Healing Kinetics That Can Be Controlled by Heat
A self-healing gel with self-healing kinetics that can be regulated by heat is developed. The gel is composed of a polymer having benzophenone (BP) substituents, which are cross-linked with a main alkyl chain via ester bonds, titanium chloride, and zinc.

Self-healing fuse development [PDF]
The mercury-filled self-healing fuses developed for this program afford very good protection from circuit faults with rapid reclosure. Fuse performance and design parameters have been characterized. Life tests indicate a capability of 500 fuse operations.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Progress in the development of self-healing polyurethane materials
As a significant branch of smart materials, self-healing polyurethane materials mimic the biological damage repair mechanisms and have been widely applied in flexible electronics, functional coatings, biomedicine, and other fields.

Preparation and Characterization of Thermally Reversible Self-healing Polyurethane Elastomer
In order to investigate the structure and property relationships of intrinsic self-healing polyurethane and balance the seemly contradictory forces between its self-healing efficiency and mechanical strength, the reversible disulfide bonds were ...

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.
