Repeated instillations of bleomycin in male mice induce a perivascular remodeling at distance of fibrotic areas in the context of progressive pulmonary fibrosis

open access: yesAnimal Models and Experimental Medicine, EarlyView.
We established a model of progressive pulmonary fibrosis via repeated intratracheal instillation (ITI) of leomycin (BLM) (A). Perivascular remodeling was observed in areas distant from the fibrotic areas and lesions induced by repeated ITI of BLM simulate those observed in IPF patients (B). Thus, this model has the capacity to track and investigate the

A Portal‐Preorganized Cucurbit[7]uril‐Ruthenium Conjugate Enables Motif‐Selective Protein Sensing

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, EarlyView.
Reprogramming cucurbit[7]uril (CB7) recognition through portal engineering transforms an optically silent host into a motif‐selective photoluminescent receptor. The portal‐preorganized CB7‐Rubpy conjugate directly reports changes in aromatic motif accessibility, enabling optical sensing of protein misfolding and refolding.

Getting (un)wasted: How planning failures generate consumer waste across resources: Time, money, goods, and energy

open access: yesConsumer Psychology Review, EarlyView.
Abstract Past research suggests that people exhibit robust waste aversion. However, many consumers routinely feel that they waste not only goods but also time, money, energy, and emotion and would be hard‐pressed to imagine their lives otherwise. Why does consumer waste persist? In this paper, we first propose a definition for consumer waste.

Trends and Current Situation of China's Meat Sector

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT As the world's largest meat producer, consumer, and importer, China's meat sector has undergone profound transformation over the past decade, driven by biological crises (e.g., African Swine Fever), environmental policies, and global market integration. This study analyzes the sector's production restructuring, consumption diversification, and
