This review summarizes advances in tin (Sn)‐based perovskite solar cells, a promising lead‐free alternative. It examines the main causes of Voc and fill factor losses, including Sn2+ oxidation, undercoordinated sites, and deep‐level traps. Strategies such as molecular coordination, surface passivation, compositional tuning, interface engineering, and ...

A partial proteolysis targeting chimera (PROTAC) library bearing achiral phenyl dihydrouracil cereblon ligands is prepared. It is then applied to the rapid development of a full PROTAC library targeting Bruton's tyrosine kinase, which can be directly used for screening.

Anticonvulsant 4-aryl semicarbazides & thioureas
Among a series of anticonvulsant 1-aryl semicarbazides, 1-(3-5-bistrifluoromethyl)phenylsemicarbazide, C3884-Go(11) and its 4-methyl derivative, C 3165-Go (12) showed good activity of long duration in the electroshock test in mice and rats.

STUDY OF THE REACTION BETWEEN CARBAMOYL AZIDE OF α-N-PROTECTED AMINO ACIDS AND HYDRAZINE MONOHYDRATE
Two simple and efficient synthetic methods for the preparation of semicarbazide amino acid derivatives are reported. The procedures involve reaction between the carbamoyl azides of alpha-N-protected amino acids and hydrazine monohydrate: 4 ...

Convulsant Effects of Semicarbazide in Epileptic Monkeys.
Summary(1) Threshold convulsant dosages to rapid intravenous injection of semicarbazide were significantly lower in chronically epileptic monkeys than in normal unoperated controls. (2) Clinical seizures following intravenous injection of threshold convulsant doses of semicarbazide occurred after a latent period of 2 to 3 1/2 hours. With suprathreshold

Hypothalamic Astrocytes Exhibit Glycolytic Features Making Them Prone for Glucose Sensing
Main Points Hypothalamic astrocytes versus cortical astrocytes: are more glycolytic due to high Pkm2, Glut1 and Mct4 expression do not exhibit glutamate‐induced glycolysis detect glucose concentration variations via an AMPK sensor with altered lactate production.

Batch Synthesis of Primaquine Diphosphate Anti‐Malarial Drug
According to the WHO, a child under the age of five dies every 2 minutes from malaria in Africa. It is therefore paramount that access and availability of anti‐malarial drugs must be improved. We report a process for the synthesis of Primaquine Diphosphate, where key intermediates were obtained in a much shorter reaction time compared to processes ...
