A Mobile Ferromagnetic Shape Detection Sensor Using a Hall Sensor Array and Magnetic Imaging
This paper presents a Mobile Hall Sensor Array system for the shape detection of ferromagnetic materials that are embedded in walls or floors. The operation of the Mobile Hall Sensor Array system is based on the principle of magnetic flux leakage to ...

On-the-field calibration of an array of sensors [PDF]
We address the problem of the calibration of an array of sensors by investigating theoretically and experimentally the case of 2 three-axis sensors. Our focus is on magnetometers that can be used in a low-cost inertial navigation system. Usual errors (misalignments, non-orthogonality, scale factors, biases) are accounted for.

A Novel PARAFAC Model for Processing the Nested Vector-Sensor Array
In this paper, a novel parallel factor (PARAFAC) model for processing the nested vector-sensor array is proposed. It is first shown that a nested vector-sensor array can be divided into multiple nested scalar-sensor subarrays.

The future of fluorescence sensor arrays
The rapid progress in sensor and biosensor array technologies needs a general strategy in the design of fluorescence reporters. Such reporters should provide a high density of sensor elements, allow analysis of targets of different affinities, and be internally calibrated, reproducible and have a rapid readout.

An Integrated ISFET Sensor Array [PDF]
A monolithically integrated ISFET sensor array and interface circuit are described. A new high-density, low-power source-drain follower was developed for the sensor array. ISFETs were formed by depositing Au/Ti extended-gate electrodes on standard MOSFETs, then thin silicon nitride layers using catalytic chemical vapor deposition and/or SU-8 protective

Smart-Pixel Array for Imaging Sensors [PDF]
This paper describes a CMOS smart-pixel array for applications in microchip size imaging sensor with pixel-level analog to digital conversion. This on-chip conversion is performed using a one-bit first-order sigma-delta converter for each pixel. The sensor outputs digital data in the form of bit streams containing information about the intensity of the
