FULL VEHICLE ACTIVE SUSPENSION: SENSOR FAULT DIAGNOSIS AND FAULT TOLERANCE

open access: yesIFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2006
Abstract In this paper, sensor fault detection, identification and fault tolerance model-based approach is designed for a linear full vehicle's active suspension system. The approach uses a bank of reduced order sliding mode observers to generate residuals.

Substrate specificity of Burkholderia pseudomallei multidrug transporters is influenced by the hydrophilic patch in the substrate‐binding pocket

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Multidrug transporters BpeB and BpeF from the Gram‐negative pathogen Burkholderia pseudomallei have a hydrophilic patch in their substrate‐binding pocket. Drug susceptibility tests and growth curve analyses using an Escherichia coli recombinant expression system revealed that the hydrophilic patches of BpeB and BpeF are involved in the substrate ...

Research and Application of EMU Axle Temperature Sensor Fault Diagnosis Strategy

open access: yesKongzhi Yu Xinxi Jishu, 2021
Existing EMU axle temperature fault diagnostic models have unclear temperature sensor fault location. It is difficult to troubleshoot the point of failure on site, resulting in wastage of manpower and material resources.

Multiple ETS family transcription factors bind mutant p53 via distinct interaction regions

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mutant p53 gain‐of‐function is thought to be mediated by interaction with other transcription factors. We identify multiple ETS transcription factors that can bind mutant p53 and found that this interaction can be promoted by a PXXPP motif. ETS proteins that strongly bound mutant p53 were upregulated in ovarian cancer compared to ETS proteins that ...

Ground reaction force sensor fault detection and recovery method based on virtual force sensor for walking biped robots [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
This paper presents a novel method for ground force sensor faults detection and faulty signal reconstruction using Virtual force Sensor (VFS) for slow walking bipeds. The design structure of the VFS consists of two steps, the total ground reaction force (

An Intelligent Time-Adaptive Data-Driven Method for Sensor Fault Diagnosis in Induction Motor Drive System

open access: yesIEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2019
Three-phase pulsewidth modulation inverter fed induction motor drive system is widely applied in high power drive applications. Sensor faults are very common in the drive system, which, once occur, might result in degraded system performance or even ...

An upstream open reading frame regulates expression of the mitochondrial protein Slm35 and mitophagy flux

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
