Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Grasping objects with a sensory substitution glove
People with a visual impairment often find it difficult to detect information about distant objects they may want to grasp. To overcome this difficulty, we developed a sensory substitution glove that facilitates non-visual grasping. The glove includes two vibration motors, one on the index finger and one on the thumb.
