Azidophosphonamido Rhodium(I) and Iridium(I) Complexes: Synthesis, Properties, and Linkage Isomerism

A family of azidophosphonamido ligands and their corresponding rhodium(I) and iridium(I) complexes were synthesized. Stepwise Synthesis of Tetrabenzotriazaporphyrins (TBTAPs) and Their Open 2‐ and 3‐Ring Fragments

Unexpected reaction pathways to porphyrin‐phthalocyanine hybrids are uncovered by the synthesis of “half‐macrocycle” fragments and subsequent macrocyclization. Rather than the expected 2:2 “ABBA” product, the 3:1 “ABBB” hybrid is isolated as the only macrocyclic product.

Ni2‐Imido Bispincer Platforms: Cooperative Reactivity Enabled Through Substrate Addition Across a Ni2N Unit

Ni2 bispincer complexes with an embedded central imido anchor are presented. The bispincer complexes leverage the high basicity of imido ligands to facilitate 1,2 addition of weak B─H and Si─H bonds, resulting in hydrido–amido complexes and resultingly a contortion of a Ni─Ni sigma bond to form an S = 1 species.
