Gastroenterological Society of Australia Position Statement on the Assessment and Management of Idiopathic Gastroparesis

open access: yesJournal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, Volume 41, Issue 7, Page 2043-2061, July 2026.
The first Australian guidance document on the assessment and management of idiopathic gastroparesis (IGP) reconceptualises IGP as a sensorimotor disorder. The Converging Effects of Different Categories of Antidepressants on the Brain: A Systematic Meta‐Analysis of Public Transcriptional Profiling Data From the Hippocampus and Cortex

open access: yesJournal of Neurochemistry, Volume 170, Issue 7, July 2026.
Understanding the congruent effects of different types of antidepressant treatments on sensitive brain regions, such as the hippocampus and cortex, can highlight essential mechanisms of action. We used a systematic meta‐analysis of public transcriptional profiling datasets to identify genes and functional gene sets that are differentially expressed ...

Self‐Poisoning With Prazosin and Its Off‐Label Use in Australia, 2014–2024: Analysis of NSW Poisons Information Centre Data

open access: yesMedical Journal of Australia, Volume 224, Issue 7, July 2026.
ABSTRACT NSW Poisons Information Centre data identified 1030 deliberate prazosin self‐poisonings over 11 years, rising from 13 to 170 per year (2014–2024). Young women predominated, likely due to expanded off‐label (but accepted) psychiatric use of prazosin. Better evidence on benefits of off‐label use is needed to justify increasing risks.

1,1‐and 1,2‐Diborylalkenes: Preparation and Synthetic Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, Volume 368, Issue 12, 17 June 2026.
In this review, we highlight recent advances in the synthesis and reactivity of 1,1‐diborylalkenes and 1,2‐diborylalkenes, along with various transformations leading to C‐C, C‐heteroatom, and multicomponent products. By providing a comprehensive and practical resource, this review aims to assist researchers in exploring the synthetic utility of 1,1 and
