Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Modelling bovine serum albumin inside carbon nanotubes
Bovine serum albumin is commonly used in many biochemical applications due to its stability, lack of interference within biochemical reactions and low production cost. Here, we model the interaction of bovine serum albumin inside a carbon nanotube.

Pair‐wise comparison of the CellSearch and FETCH enrichment technologies for circulating tumor cells (CTCs) from metastatic breast, prostate, and small cell lung cancer patients shows an increased capture of CTCs using FETCH enrichment. The clinical implementation of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) as a predictive tool for therapy efficacy in the ...

Electrokinetic study of bovine serum albumin in aqueous solution: Electroviscosity
The electrokinetic of bovine serum albumin (BSA) in water is scarcely studied, and the experimental measurements are narrowly reported. Intrinsic viscosity data are very useful in assessing the interaction between the solute and solvent.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.

On the aggregation of bovine serum albumin [PDF]
In an attempt to elucidate the aggregation behaviour of bovine serum albumin and its modulation by salt ions, size-exclusion high-performance liquid chromatography was used and complemented by dynamic light scattering.

Development of human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 by yeast display
Human monoclonal antibodies against TARM1 are generated by yeast display‐guided selection. These antibodies bind to soluble and cell‐surface forms of TARM1. Also, these antibodies exhibit agonistic activity in the NFAT‐GFP reporter assay, indicating that TARM1 signaling can be functionally modulated by antibodies and suggesting TARM1 as a potential ...
