Nurr1 Orchestrates Claustrum Development and Functionality

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Nurr1 (Nr4a2) is the master transcription factor to control claustrum morphogenesis and cell fate decision postmitotically by inhibiting intracellular G‐protein signaling. Nurr1 deficiency alters the transcriptomic profiles of subcortical claustral neurons into neocortical insular neurons, resulting in defected claustrum development, impaired axonal ...

The Tumor‐to‐Endothelial Transfer of FTO Promotes Vascular Remodeling and Metastasis in Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Integrated omics analysis of matched primary and liver metastatic NPC tumors reveals a unique NOTCH1+ CSC subpopulation exhibiting enhanced stemness properties and tumorigenic capacity. With in vitro and in vivo assays, exosomal transfer of tumor‐derived FTO from NOTCH1+ cells to the endothelium promotes vascular permeability and metastatic potential ...

The Role of Dexa Scan Application in Uremic Patients on Hemodialysis in Ibn-Sina Hemodialysis Center

open access: yesDiyala Journal of Medicine, 2020
Background: Chronic kidney disease is an international public health problem affecting 5–10% of the world population. As kidney function declines, there is a progressive deterioration in mineral homeostasis, with a disruption of normal serum and tissue ...

Treatment results with oral Rocaltrol pulse among patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism in hemodialysis ward

open access: yesMajallah-i Dānishgāh-i ̒Ulūm-i Pizishkī-i Bābul, 2004
Background and Objective: Renal osteodystrophy is one of the most important complications of ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease). Prescription of calcium, low phosphate diet and rocaltrol are essential in these patients. The aim of this study was to determine

Engineered Mesenchymal Stem Cell–NK Cell Complexes for Spatially Targeted and Functionally Revitalized Cancer Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IL‐15‐engineered stem cell–NK cell complexes, assembled via bioorthogonal chemistry, enable effective lung cancer immunotherapy. Abstract Natural killer (NK) cells represent a powerful immunotherapeutic strategy due to their intrinsic cytotoxicity and ability to target tumor cells independently of antigen presentation.

Comprehensive Profiling of N6‐methyladnosine (m6A) Readouts Reveals Novel m6A Readers That Regulate Human Embryonic Stem Cell Differentiation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This research deciphers the m6A transcriptome by profiling its sites and functional readout effects: from mRNA stability, translation to alternative splicing, across five different cell types. Machine learning model identifies novel m6A‐binding proteins DDX6 and FXR2 and novel m6A reader proteins FUBP3 and L1TD1.

HRS Degradation‐Induced Nicotinamide Deficiency in Placental Extracellular Vesicles Triggers Preeclampsia by Disrupting Maternal‐Fetal Immune Homeostasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study shows that lower NAM levels in PE‐derived pEVs correlate with disease severity. NAM‐deficient pEVs reduce Th1 and Th17 inhibition, leading to PE‐like symptoms. NAM in pEVs inhibits Th1 via SIRT1 and Th17 via macrophages. Reduced NAM in PE‐EVs is due to decreased HRS expression in trophoblasts, resulting from elevated HSP27.
