Let X be a Banach space. An operator T on X is called a Gellar basis shift if there is a scalar sequence \(\{W_ n\}\) and a normalized basis \(\{x_ n\}\) of X such that \(Tx_ n=w_ nx_{n+1}\). In this case, we say that the basis \(\{x_ n\}\) is Gellar shiftable by T. An operator T on X is said to be a Crownover shift if T is injective, has closed range,

Next‐generation proteomics improves lung cancer risk prediction
This is one of very few studies that used prediagnostic blood samples from participants of two large population‐based cohorts. We identified, evaluated, and validated an innovative protein marker model that outperformed an established risk prediction model and criteria employed by low‐dose computed tomography in lung cancer screening trials.

Nabla derivatives associated with nonlinear control systems on homogeneous time scales
The backward shift and nabla derivative operators, defined by the control system on homogeneous time scale, in vector spaces of one-forms and vector fields are introduced and some of their properties are proven.

THE OPERATOR SHIFT SPACE [PDF]
AbstractWe construct and examine an operator space $X$, isometric to $\ell_2$, such that every completely bounded map from its subspace $Y$ into $X$ is a compact perturbation of a linear combination of multiples of a shift of given multiplicity and their adjoints. Moreover, every completely bounded map on $X$ is a Hilbert–Schmidt perturbation of such a

Potential therapeutic targeting of BKCa channels in glioblastoma treatment
This review summarizes current insights into the role of BKCa and mitoBKCa channels in glioblastoma biology, their potential classification as oncochannels, and the emerging pharmacological strategies targeting these channels, emphasizing the translational challenges in developing BKCa‐directed therapies for glioblastoma treatment.

On the Complete Indeterminacy and the Chaoticity of the Generalized Heun Operator in Bargmann Space
In 1998, we gave a complete scattering analysis of the cubic Heun operator H=a∗(a+a∗)a acting on Bargmann space, where a and a∗ are the standard Bose annihilation and creation operators satisfying the commutation relation [a,a∗]=I.

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.
