Inverse problems, trace formulae for discrete Schr\"odinger operators [PDF]
We study discrete Schroedinger operators with compactly supported potentials on the square lattice. Constructing spectral representations and representing S-matrices by the generalized eigenfunctions, we show that the potential is uniquely reconstructed ...

An operator inequality for weighted Bergman shift operators
We prove an operator inequality for the Bergman shift operator on weighted Bergman spaces of analytic functions in the unit disc with weight function controlled by a curvature parameter \alpha assuming nonnegative integer values.

Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

Can varying the number of teams in a shift schedule constitute a preventive strategy?
OBJECTIVE: The study examines the implications for shiftworkers of applying different numbers of teams in the organization of shiftwork. METHODS: The participating operators came from five different companies applying continuous shift rotation systems ...

On the Wigner-Racah Algebra of the Group SU(2) in a Non-Standard Basis
The algebra su(2) is derived from two commuting quon algebras for which the parameter q is a root of unity. This leads to a polar decomposition of the shift operators of the group SU(2).

CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Strength through diversity: how cancers thrive when clones cooperate
Intratumor heterogeneity can offer direct benefits to the tumor through cooperation between different clones. In this review, Kuiken et al. discuss existing evidence for clonal cooperativity to identify overarching principles, and highlight how novel technological developments could address remaining open questions.
