Acute toxicity of ammonia to Siberian sturgeon Acipenser baeri
1991Median lethal concentrations (LC50) of ammonia were determined for Siberian sturgeon (A.baeri) in static tests. The respective 24 h NH3 LC50 for different weight groups - 60 mg, 10 to 270 g and 450 g - were 1 mg/l, 1,7 mg/l and 2,5 mg/l. Sturgeon are more resistant than rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss).
