Spin relaxation of two-dimensional holes in strained asymmetric SiGe quantum wells
We analyze spin splitting of the two-dimensional hole spectrum in strained asymmetric SiGe quantum wells (QWs). Based on the Luttinger Hamiltonian, we obtain expressions for the spin-splitting parameters up to the third order in the in-plane hole ...

ABSTRACT Background Changes in legislation and social attitudes towards transgender and gender diverse (TGD) people have prompted clinical and ethical questions about the experiences, care, and health outcomes of TGD patients in medical imaging. Aim The aim of this scoping review is to identify the main themes surrounding TGD patient care in medical ...

This prospective multicenter study corroborates the efficacy of AIT with the native HDM allergen extract in Chinese AR patients with diverse HDM sensitization patterns. HDM sensitization pattern affects the efficacy of AIT, with patients sensitized to both major and minor allergens of HDM showing improved outcomes with HDM SCIT.

Mediation of Polygenic Asthma Risk Through Gene Expression
We apply published PRSs in African‐ancestry individuals and quantify the extent to which the PRS‐asthma relationship is mediated by clinical biomarkers and gene‐expression signatures of asthma. We found the best PRS to be the one derived using the largest sample size and including African‐ancestry individuals.

Scaling study of Si/SiGe MODFETs for RF applications [PDF]
Based on the successful calibration on a 0.25 /spl mu/m strained Si/SiGe n-type MODFET, this paper presents a gate length scaling study of double-side doped Si/SiGe MODFETs.

This study presents a post hoc analysis of longitudinal changes in peanut component‐specific IgE and IgG4 in children aged 1–4 years undergoing peanut SLIT, aiming to uncover immune mechanisms and potential biomarkers of remission. Peanut SLIT reduced IgE and increased IgG4 responses to Ara h 1, Ara h 2, Ara h 3, and Ara h 6.

"Forbidden" transitions between quantum Hall and insulating phases in p-SiGe heterostructures
We show that in dilute metallic p-SiGe heterostructures, magnetic field can cause multiple quantum Hall-insulator-quantum Hall transitions. The insulating states are observed between quantum Hall states with filling factors \nu=1 and 2 and, for the first
