Syntactic approach to electric mobility in metropolitian areas: NE 1 district core, segment map [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Capturing vehicular travel behavior is one of the most popular models that deal with relevant aspects of urban regions and communities. Since 1960s, it has been matured and evolved to cover all aspects of travel demand applications.

Diffusion‐Weighted Imaging for the Evaluation of the Sacroiliac Joint in Pediatric Patients

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Maturational signal in the sacroiliac joint (SIJ) of skeletally immature youth is often misinterpreted as inflammation. Diagnostic tools that improve specificity are greatly needed. Apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) values from diffusion‐weighted imaging (DWI), when used with standard imaging, may enhance diagnostic accuracy.

Sarilumab in Polyarticular‐Course Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Dose‐Finding and 1‐Year Analysis of a Phase 2b, Open‐Label, Multicenter Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective This study assessed sarilumab in treating patients with polyarticular‐course juvenile idiopathic arthritis (pcJIA). Methods This phase 2b, open‐label study (NCT02776735) consisted of three sequential parts (each with a core‐treatment and extension phase).

Development of a Joint Tumor Size–Overall Survival Modeling and Simulation Framework Supporting Oncology Development Decision‐Making

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology
Tumor size–overall survival (TS‐OS) models can support decision‐making in oncology drug development by predicting long‐term OS based on TS data from early data cuts and baseline patient factors.

Pharmacokinetics, Pharmacodynamics, and Safety of Subcutaneous Belimumab in Pediatric Patients With Systemic Lupus Erythematosus: A Multicenter, Open‐Label Trial

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective This study aimed to characterize the pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, safety, and exploratory efficacy of subcutaneous belimumab in pediatric patients with active systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) receiving standard therapy. Methods This single‐arm, multicenter, open‐label trial (GSK study 200908; ClinicalTrials.gov identifier ...

Tutorial on Conditional Simulations With a Tumor Size‐Overall Survival Model to Support Oncology Drug Development

open access: yesCPT: Pharmacometrics & Systems Pharmacology
The gold standard for regulatory approval in oncology is overall survival (OS). Because OS data are initially limited, early drug development decisions are often based on early efficacy endpoints, such as objective response rate and progression‐free ...

Theoretical prediction and atomic kinetic Monte Carlo simulations of void superlattice self-organization under irradiation

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2018
Nano-structured superlattices may have novel physical properties and irradiation is a powerful mean to drive their self-organization. However, the formation mechanism of superlattice under irradiation is still open for debate.

MYCOPHENOLATE MOFETIL TREATMENT REDUCES THE RISK OF TREATMENT ESCALATION DUE TO VASCULAR COMPLICATIONS IN LIMITED CUTANEOUS SYSTEMIC SCLEROSIS: EMULATION OF A TARGET TRIAL FROM ITALIAN RHEUMATOLOGY SOCIETY SPRING REGISTRY

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objective Mycophenolate Mofetil (MMF) use in limited cutaneous systemic sclerosis (lcSSc) is relatively uncommon due to the lower fibrotic burden and the predominance of the vascular complications. In vitro observations and clinical data from transplanted patients suggest a protective effect of MMF on endothelial function.
