Depletion of p75NTR in Schwann Cells Driven by Inflammation Mediates Cutaneous Pain in Psoriasis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Psoriasis‐like inflammation induces proliferation and molecular remodeling of cutaneous Schwann cells, marked by reduced p75NTR and increased NGF expression. IL‐17A promotes this process, whereas Schwann cell‐specific p75NTR overexpression alleviates cutaneous pain in vivo.

Hepatoma‐Derived Growth Factor Coordinates STAT3 Pathway and Exosome‐Mediated Intrahepatic Crosstalk to Control Hepatic Steatosis and MASLD

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Hepatic HDGF as a key mediator in coordinating hepatic steatosis and intrahepatic crosstalk in MASLD. Activation of HDGF facilitates its interaction with both STAT3 and S6K1, driving the S6K1‐dependent STAT3 phosphorylation and subsequently enhancing hepatic lipogenesis.

Approximation of weakly singular integral equations by sinc projection methods. ETNA - Electronic Transactions on Numerical Analysis

open access: yes, 2020
In this paper, two numerical schemes for a nonlinear integral equation of Fredholm type with weakly singular kernel are studied. These numerical methods blend collocation, convolution, and approximations based on sinc basis functions with iterative ...

Kinsenoside Targets IDH1 to Restore Microglial Immune‐Metabolic Homeostasis for Alzheimer's Disease Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Dysregulated TCA cycle contributes to Alzheimer's disease (AD) pathogenesis. Here, we show that microglial isocitrate dehydrogenase 1 (IDH1) is a critical driver. Elevated IDH1 disrupts citrate metabolism and mitochondrial function, exacerbating AD pathology.

Numerical behaviour of multigrid methods for symmetric Sinc-Galerkin systems

open access: yes, 2005
The symmetric Sinc-Galerkin method developed by Lund (Math. Comput. 1986; 47:571-588), when applied to second-order self-adjoint boundary value problems on d dimensional rectangular domains, gives rise to an N × N positive definite coefficient matrix ...

Brown Adipocyte Sheets Alleviate Myocardial Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury Through NRG4–ErbB4–Dependent Ferroptosis Inhibition

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Brown adipocyte sheets are engineered to protect the heart against myocardial ischemia–reperfusion injury by restraining ferroptosis. Upon transplantation onto the cardiac surface, they improve cardiac function, limit infarction and fibrosis, and enhance angiogenesis.

A sinc function analogue of chebfun

open access: yes, 2011
Chebfun is an established software system for computing with functions of a real variable, but its capabilities for handling functions with singularities are limited.

Master Regulator SMC1A, Stabilized by N6‐Methyladenosine Reader IGF2BP1, Promotes HCC Progression Through Facilitating Enhancer–Promoter Interaction of Nestin

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
IGF2BP1‐mediated m6A stabilization sustains SMC1A expression, enabling cohesin‐associated chromatin regulation of Nestin in hepatocellular carcinoma. This work reveals an epitranscriptomic‐chromatin‐cytoskeletal regulatory axis linked to malignant phenotypes and identifies SMC1A as a biologically relevant vulnerability in HCC.

Numerical method based on sinc functions for solving singularly perturbed Fredholm integro-differential equations

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems
A numerical method based on sinc functions is developed and examined to approximate the solution of singularly perturbed Fredholm integro-differential equations. This method involves combining sinc basis functions with nonclassical weight functions. With
