Heterotropic regulation and negative homotropic cooperativity
We identified a structural module common to some proteins that couple negative cooperativity with heterotropic regulation, two features that rarely coexist. These proteins are ring‐like and present an ordered asymmetry whereby noncontacting subunits are symmetric, and their tertiary structure differs from that of contacting subunits.

Epilepsy‐Associated Variants of a Single SCN1A Codon Exhibit Divergent Functional Properties
ABSTRACT Objective Pathogenic variants in SCN1A, which encodes the voltage‐gated sodium channel NaV1.1, are associated with multiple epilepsy syndromes exhibiting a range of clinical severity. SCN1A variants are reported in different syndromes, including Dravet syndrome, which is associated with loss‐of‐function, whereas neonatal/infantile‐onset ...

Research on the selection of rotation stopping block’s arrangement for single-type low-floor tram
Single-type low-floor trams have been widely used in the construction of urban light rail transit in recent years. As a common component of low-floor trams, the rotation stopping block can limit the relative swing angle range between the car body and the

ABSTRACT Objective Neurochemical levels measured by brain MR spectroscopy (MRS) have been proposed as endpoints for clinical trials in early‐stage spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA) trials. We tested their trial‐readiness by quantifying neurochemicals in three affected brain regions in early‐stage cohorts of SCA2 and SCA3, examining their reproducibility in ...
