Singularities in Computational Optics
Phase singularities in optical fields are associated with a non-vanishing curl component of phase gradients. Huygen’s diverging spherical wavefronts that primary/secondary point sources emit, during propagation, a have zero curl component. Therefore, the propagation of waves that contain phase singularities exhibits new exciting features.

Numerical wave optics and the lensing of gravitational waves by globular clusters
We consider the possible effects of gravitational lensing by globular clusters on gravitational waves from asymmetric neutron stars in our galaxy. In the lensing of gravitational waves, the long wavelength, compared with the usual case of optical lensing,

HKUST‐1/TiO2 composite materials show a very high photocatalytic hydrogen evolution rate which increases as a function of the irradiation time until reaching a plateau and even surpasses the performance of the 1%Pt/TiO2 material after three photocatalytic cycles.

Synthesized Vortex Beams in the Turbulent Atmosphere
The results of our investigations on the control over the orbital angular momentum (OAM) of a laser beam synthesized through combination of wave fields of a fiber array are reviewed. Peculiarities of OAM formation in the case of control over the value of

Observation of Bulk Fermi Arc and Polarization Half Charge from Paired Exceptional Points
The ideas of topology have found tremendous success in Hermitian physical systems, but even richer properties exist in the more general non-Hermitian framework.

MXene dervied CoFe composites show increased initial Oxygen Evolution Reaction (OER) activity compared to the pure CoFe and MXene in an Anion Exchange Membrane device. Vanadium vacancies in the MXene plays a role in increased OER activity and hinders Fe leaching in the AEM device over using the pure V2C MXene as a support material for the CoFe ...

Paraxial light in a Cole-Cole nonlocal medium: integrable regimes and singularities
Nonlocal nonlinear Schroedinger-type equation is derived as a model to describe paraxial light propagation in nonlinear media with different `degrees' of nonlocality.
