Robust Sliding Mode Control for Flexible Joint Robotic Manipulator via Disturbance Observer [PDF]
In a flexible joint robotic manipulator, parametric variations and external disturbances result in mismatch uncertainties thus posing a great challenge in terms of manipulator’s control. This article investigates non-linear control algorithms for desired

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Application on the Series Multi-cells Converter for Implementation and Comparison between a Higher Order Sliding Mode Control and Simple Order [PDF]
In this paper, a sliding mode control of a series multi-cells converter is introduced. Multi-cells topologies have gained a lot of popularity because of their advantages over classical energy conversion structures.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Sliding Modes in Consensus Control
In this chapter, an overview of the possibility of applying Sliding Mode Control to Consensus Control problems is proposed. The theoretical concepts at the basis of Consensus Control are first introduced to form a common basis useful to understand the ...

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.
