Stimulator of interferon genes agonist augmented antitumor immunity of osimertinib in Egfr‐mutated lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining osimertinib with the STING agonist ADU‐S100 activates innate and adaptive immunity to overcome the non‐inflamed microenvironment of Egfr‐mutant lung cancer. This combination increases NK and CD8+ T‐cell infiltration, associated with activation of the STING‐IRF3 pathway and local immunogenic cell death.

Integral Sliding Mode Control for a Class of Nonlinear Multi-Agent Systems With Multiple Time-Varying Delays

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper deals with the stability of nonlinear multi-agent systems (MASs) with multiple time delays. A class of multi-agent system (MAS) is constructed considering the effects of multiple time delays, nonlinearity, and uncertainty.

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created

Oncogenic DMTF1β promotes cancer cell motility by regulating autophagy through ULK1 stabilization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In the current study, we demonstrate that the oncogene DMTF1β regulates ULK1 stability by reducing its proteasomal degradation in cancer cells. This stabilization enables ULK1 to induce autophagy, which in turn facilitates cancer cell migration. Consequently, reduced DMTF1β levels lead to decreased autophagy and impaired cancer cell migration.

Application of moving sliding mode control for a DC motor driven four-bar mechanism

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2018
The angular velocity of the input link of a mechanism fluctuates due to the inertia of links and the external forces, although it is generally assumed constant in design.

Integral sliding mode control for active suspension systems of half-vehicle model

open access: yesMechanical Engineering Journal, 2015
This paper proposes a design method of sliding mode controller with the robustness against actuator uncertainty for active suspension systems of half-vehicle model. The features of the proposed sliding mode controller are not to require any force sensors

Multirate output feedback based digital redesign of sliding mode control algorithms

open access: yes, 2006
Though continuous-time sliding mode control has a variety of desirable properties, its discrete-time counterpart does not guarantee the same performance.

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.
