Evaluation of Slope Stability Based on Fuzzy Mathematics with Combination Weighting Method of Game Theory

open access: yesRenmin Zhujiang, 2021
In order to accurately evaluate the stability of the slope and reduce the risk of landslides, taking the Jiangjiatang slope project in Xingshan,Hubei as an example, this paper selects four first-level indexes namely topography and geomorphology, geological ...

Influence of Mining Activity on Selected Landslide in the Ostrava-Karviná Coalfield [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The paper deals with the impact of undermining on the slope deformation Doubrava Vrchovec. For the evaluation of the impact, isocatabase maps, terrain deformation parameters calculated for slope deformation, length measuring by zone extensometry and ...

Asymmetric nuclear matter:the role of the isovector scalar channel [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We try to single out some qualitative new effects of the coupling to the $\delta$-isovector-scalar meson introduced in a minimal way in a phenomenological hadronic field theory.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Probabilistic Slope Stability Evaluation Using Hybrid Metaheuristic Approach

open access: yesPeriodica Polytechnica Civil Engineering, 2022
This paper develops an efficient evolutionary hybrid optimization technique based on the adaptive salp swarm algorithm (ASSA) and pattern search (PS) for the reliability evaluation of earth slopes considering spatial variability of soils under the framework of the limit equilibrium method.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Integrated assessment of soil cutting slope stability using fuzzy mathematics and numerical simulation

open access: yesZhongguo dizhi zaihai yu fangzhi xuebao, 2023
The complexity and uncertainty of the factors affecting the stability of artificial slope in loess regions pose challenges for achieving objective and accurate assessments through a single method. To investigate the stability of the artificial soil slope
