CRISPR screens identify tumor‐promoting genes conferring melanoma cell plasticity and resistance
Most genetic alterations that drive melanoma development and resistance to targeted therapy have been uncovered. In contrast, and despite their increasingly recognized contribution, little is known about the non‐genetic mechanisms that drive these ...

Introduction: Transforming growth factor-beta (TGFβ) signaling plays a vital role in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) progression. However, the involvement of TGFβ-regulated long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in metastasis of LUAD remains poorly understood ...

An integrative single‐cell atlas across multiple metabolic diseases reveals coordinated metabolic modules and disease‐shared versus disease‐specific pathway activities. By systematically comparing scoring strategies, a robust RankAve framework is established. Coupled with network analysis and drug‐target prediction, this resource uncovers cross‐disease

EWSR1-SMAD3 positive fibroblastic tumor
We present a case of EWSR1-SMAD3 positive fibroblastic tumor that occurred in a 24-year-old man who presented with a recurrent tumor in the dorsum of his right foot. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) demonstrated a subcutaneous nodule located in the third metatarsophalangeal joint region, measuring 10 × 8 × 5 mm in size.

It has been demonstrated that the sekelsky mothers against decapentaplegic homolog 3 (Smad3) plays an important role in the growth and development of vertebrates. However, little is known about the association between the Smad3 gene and the growth traits

LncRNA GAS5 attenuates fibroblast activation through inhibiting Smad3 signaling
Transforming Growth Factor β (TGF-β)-induced fibroblast activation is a key pathological event during tissue fibrosis. Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) is a class of versatile gene regulators participating in various cellular and molecular processes. However,

ROS‐Responsive H2S Hydrogel (HAPPF) Coordinated Regeneration for High‐Quality Diabetic Wound Repair.A self‐regulating dynamic hydrogel is developed to deliver a fluorogenic H2S donor in response to excessive ROS. Released H2S acts as a master regulator to resolve chronic inflammation (M2 polarization), restore VEGF‐driven angiogenesis, and rebalance ...

Low-dose paclitaxel ameliorates pulmonary fibrosis by suppressing TGF-β1/Smad3 pathway via miR-140 upregulation. [PDF]
Abnormal TGF-β1/Smad3 activation plays an important role in the pathogenesis of pulmonary fibrosis, which can be prevented by paclitaxel (PTX). This study aimed to investigate an antifibrotic effect of the low-dose PTX (10 to 50 nM in vitro, and 0.6 mg ...

Qishen granule attenuates cardiac fibrosis by regulating TGF-β /Smad3 and GSK-3β pathway.
BACKGROUND Cardiac fibrosis is a common pathological progress of cardiovascular disease resulting from the excessive accumulation of extracellular matrix (ECM).

Trypsinogen‐loaded nanoparticles reprogram TAMs via NF‐κB/NLRP3, driving M2→M1 conversion and potent phagocytosis to unleash antitumor immunity. ABSTRACT Although reprogramming tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) represents a promising therapeutic strategy, approaches that are both precise and safe remain scarce.
