Nuclear Autoantigenic Sperm Protein Promotes Cardiac Regeneration and Repair Through Activating the PDGFRB/AKT Pathway

open access: yesThe FASEB Journal, Volume 39, Issue 15, 15 August 2025.
This study revealed an important role of NASP in promoting cardiomyocytes proliferation and cardiac regeneration. In this study, we found that NASP was downregulated in postnatal mice myocardium. Cardiac‐specific overexpression of NASP promoted regenerative repair in adult mice post‐MI through the PDGFRB/AKT pathway. ABSTRACT Myocardial Infarction (MI)

Ubiquitination of transcription factors in cancer: unveiling therapeutic potential

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, Volume 19, Issue 8, Page 2174-2195, August 2025.
In cancer, dysregulated ubiquitination of transcription factors contributes to the uncontrolled growth and survival characteristics of tumors. Tumor suppressors are degraded by aberrant ubiquitination, or oncogenic transcription factors gain stability through ubiquitination, thereby promoting tumorigenesis.

Unveiling Small Non‐Coding RNA Dynamics During Recombinant Adeno‐Associated Virus Production

open access: yesBiotechnology Journal, Volume 20, Issue 8, August 2025.
Graphical Abstract and Lay Summary In this study, we explored the largely underexamined role of non‐coding RNAs in recombinant adeno‐associated virus (rAAV) production. Using a time‐course, multi‐layered analytical approach in HEK293F cells, we identified 142 differentially expressed microRNAs and five snoRNAs involved in key cellular processes ...

A robust machine learning model based on ribosomal‐subunit‐derived piRNAs for diagnostic potential of nonsmall cell lung cancer across multicentre, large‐scale of sequencing data

open access: yesClinical and Translational Medicine, Volume 15, Issue 8, August 2025.
NSCLC lacks robust noninvasive biomarkers. We curated 2050 invasive and noninvasive samples, integrating public and in‐house plasma/exosome data. A machine learning model using five tumour‐specific piRNA signatures formed the piRNA‐Based Tumour Probability Index (pi‐TPI), achieving AUC values up to .96, demonstrating strong potential for NSCLC ...
