On a multipoint nonlocal initial value problem for a singularly-perturbed first-order ODE [PDF]
A linear first order ordinary differential equation (ODE) with a positive parameter $\varepsilon$ and a multipoint nonlocal initial value condition (NLIVC) is considered.

Exploiting metabolic adaptations to overcome dabrafenib treatment resistance in melanoma cells
We show that dabrafenib‐resistant melanoma cells undergo mitochondrial remodeling, leading to elevated respiration and ROS production balanced by stronger antioxidant defenses. This altered redox state promotes survival despite mitochondrial damage but renders resistant cells highly vulnerable to ROS‐inducing compounds such as PEITC, highlighting redox

Possibility to measure thermal effects in the Casimir force
We analyze the possibility to measure small thermal effects in the Casimir force between metal test bodies in configurations of a sphere above a plate and two parallel plates.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Reducing Friction with a Liquid Film on the Body Surface
A flow of a thin layer of liquid is simulated on a flat surface of a body located in a stream of air. Liquid film on the surface of the body reduces frictional resistance and can be used as a boundary layer control element.

Random Homogenization in a Domain with Light Concentrated Masses
In the paper, we consider an elliptic problem in a domain with singular stochastic perturbation of the density located near the boundary, depending on a small parameter.

Impact of small scale inhomogeneities on observations of standard candles
We investigate the effect of small scale inhomogeneities on standard candle observations, such as type Ia supernovae (SNe) observations. Existence of the small scale inhomogeneities may cause a tension between SNe observations and other observations with

LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

A New Parametrization of the Neutrino Mixing Matrix
The neutrino mixing matrix is expanded in powers of a small parameter $\lambda$, which approximately equals to 0.1. The meaning of every order of the expansion is discussed respectively, and the range of $\lambda$ is carefully calculated. We also present

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.
